Ms. Wilds writes, "this lovely prayer expresses thanks that we have been brought safely to the beginning of another day, and asks for protection and guidance. The light and airy colors of the castle tower suggest early morning, and the contrast of the rich interior above and the peasants at work below suggests that God's protection is available to all."
